President’s Message

Ron Daye

Hello, and welcome to Rangeland Engineering.

From the start, my goal has been to nurture talent and build best practice. It has been almost twenty years since I started Rangeland Engineering, and today you’ll find our work embedded in some of Alberta’s largest energy projects.

We sit in a unique spot where we have the agility of a small firm and the strength of a big corporation. This allows us to develop a Rangeland way that is as rigorous as best practice, though flexible enough to provide the right solution for clients. Not every company can say the same.

We know that quality people deliver quality projects. We hire the best in the industry and work hard to keep them. I have always wanted a company where people think outside of the box. And I am proud of the team of talent that calls Rangeland home. They build better projects and they build better partnerships. Rangeland is the people that work here. And more importantly, it is the relationships between them. It’s that simple.

Rangeland has a client base of first-rate companies. So far, more than 80 per cent of our clients are repeat customers. The result has been optimized and consistent service for our clients and steady work for Rangeland.

Why the name Rangeland and why is the bison our Mascot? I wanted my Alberta-based company to reflect the ‘can-do’, hard-working attitude of the West and what better iconic image of the prairies than the indomitable bison?

Please do not hesitate to contact me at (403) 265-5130. After all, it’s all about people and relationships.
