Intermediate EIC Drafting & Design Technician – Calgary

Rangeland is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and motivated individual to join our engineering team.

You will:

• Support engineers and senior designers with electrical, instrumentation and controls drafting
• Prepare various drawings such as single line diagrams, wiring and schematic diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts
• Read and adhere to client standards
• Maintain electrical data, documentation, and drawings
• Interact and collaborate with the project team to develop drawings efficiently and accurately within project schedule constraints
• Perform other duties as required

You have:

• Post-secondary training in electrical/instrumentation/controls with 3-5 years of relevant drafting experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Navisworks is an asset
• Working knowledge of fundamental design/drafting standards, practices, and techniques
• Independent decision-making skills with an awareness of when to draw on the experience and knowledge of others
• Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail
