Ian Alcorn, P.Eng., PMP
EI&C Engineering Manager
Rangelander since 2012
Ian leads our electrical, instrumentation & controls team with hands-on involvement to ensure the team’s output is safe, accurate, constructable and is appropriate for the specific client or project needs.
He brings a wealth of experience, much of which is gained from large-scale multi-discipline projects across a number of different industries, which has provided him with a solid grounding in engineering project delivery and exposure to worldwide best practices.
His industry experience includes the recovery, processing and transportation of conventional and heavy oil, offshore oil and gas, natural gas and natural gas liquids as well as power generation and cogeneration, nuclear fuel manufacturing and shipbuilding.
Together with the other discipline engineering leads, Ian has helped develop Rangeland’s quality management system, with particular focus on technical compliance, the procurement cycle and exceeding requirements and expectations of clients, site constructors and module fabricators.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering from The Queen’s University of Belfast (1987).
I want Rangeland to go above and beyond current practice. We are developing a ‘Rangeland Way’ that allows for flexibility and agility, but drives towards consistent high quality and best practice.
