Midale Truck Terminal
The terminal is a crude condensate blending facility. A key feature of the facility was its grassroots, rural location. The crude is brought in by pipeline and stored in a tank farm, while condensate is brought in by truck and stored in bullets.
To upgrade the value of the product, the facility blends the crude with condensate and then exports to pipeline. The terminal also has provisions for off-loading truck shipments of propane and butane.
The total program included:
•
Crude oil storage of 15 Mbbl
•Truck offloading infrastructure, including pumps, controls, storage bullets, power and control
•Crude and condensate blending
Rangeland placed a lot of emphasis on the design coordination between the crude provider and the facility owner.
Rangeland Responsibilities:
•Detail engineering
•Construction management
•Operator training and commissioning support
