Estimating

Our collaborative approach to client engagement and expertise in project analysis allows us to focus on reliable cost projections with detailed breakdown of costs with risk mitigation strategies and minimize unnecessary cost overruns.

Our cost estimating database built up of historical project costs on equipment and materials dating back to the 1970’s. We look to this as a starting point for all our estimates and it includes all types of energy projects across upstream, midstream and downstream.

Methodology

Our Estimating Quality Assurance Process (EQAP) has proven over numerous estimates, many of which have supported construction execution resulted in accurate estimate targets and These documents have been created over time and align with industry best practices, such as American Association of Cost Engineers International (AACEi).

Our teams combined experience offers expertise in the following areas:

  • Engineering and construction scope definition

  • Project execution strategies

  • Value engineering /cost savings

  • WBS / area breakdowns / cost control

  • Preparing MTOs

  • Sourcing equipment and bulk pricing

  • Modularization concepts

  • Site visits / assignments

  • Construction scheduling

  • Risk assessments

  • Escalation

  • Owner’s costs

  • Benchmarking / metrics
